Sefton Council is preparing a new Local Plan to replace the current Local Plan which dates from April 2017. Further infomation and copies of documents can be found online or using the link below.
Sefton Local Plan - Scoping Report
This is the first opportunity to comment on what the Local Plan should include. This is a chance to comment on what topics the Local Plan should cover and provide initial ideas of the vision for Sefton and how would like to be consulted throughout the Local Plan process.
We only need your name (or organisation) if you wish to make comments. This is so we know they are genuinely made.
However, if you wish to be kept informed throughout the Local Plan process, please include your contact details. We will publish your name (or organisation) against any comments you make but will not publish any contact details (email or home addresss). Information that we collect will be retained no longer than 6 years.
More information can be found at How we use your personal information in Planning.
At the end of the survey you will be asked if you want to give an email address so that you can receive a copy of your response. You do not have to do this. The email address is only used to send the email to you from Your Sefton Your Say. The email address will not be stored with the responses and Sefton Council will not have access it, unless you have given your email address as part of the survey.
Why your views matter
Your responses to the questions in this consultation will help shape the direction and content of the new Local Plan before we begin drafting policies or identifying sites for development.
