Day Opportunities Consultation - Your Day, Your Say

Closes 9 Jan 2022

Opened 11 Oct 2021

This is a consultation about your day opportunities.

The way people have been using day opportunities has been changing for some time.  The impact of COVID meant people had the chance to access support in different ways.

Sefton Council are asking you questions about if the pandemic has changed how you would like to be supported.

We have called this 'Your Day Your Say'.

This is nothing to worry about.

The information will help the Council to make sure that services are of a good quality.
It will help us to understand more about how the COVID pandemic has changed people's experiences of day services.

Services need to meet the requirements of the Care Act 2014. The Care Act is a law about care and support for adults in England.

If a person is eligible for Council arranged support, we want to make sure that there are different day opportunities and services available for people to use.

This will mean that people will have more choice of activities and when they want to use them.

Some people may like or need to have their day opportunity or service in a building.  Others may like to have day opportunities or services that are in the local community.

When will the consultation start and finish?

The consultation will start on Monday 11th October 2021 and end on Sunday 9th January 2022.
