NEW CONSULTATION - Southport Town Deal - Movement, Access & Public Realm Improvements

Closed 18 Mar 2022

Opened 3 Feb 2022

Overview

We invite you to let us know what you think of the ideas using this on-line questionnaire, which includes several plans and visualisations illustrating the ideas for the first phase of the project. We are also asking about the ideas for the later stages of the project and about new direction and information signs. In addition, we have been carrying out work to identify what needs to be done about traffic signs around the town and providing car and cycle parking for the future that we would also like to ask about.

Why your views matter

This survey is anonymous. However, please note that at the end of this survey, before submitting your results, you will be asked if you want to provide an email address so that you can receive a PDF copy of your response. This is completely optional. The email address is only used to send the email to you via the online consultation system provided by Delib as the data processor. The email address will not be stored with the responses and Sefton Council will not have access it.

What happens next

Thank you for providing your comments.

All the responses to the questionnaire will be compiled and reported to the Town Deal Board. They will be used to refine the plans for the first phase of the project and to develop and finalise the details of the proposals for the later stages of the project.

The business plan for Les Transformations de Southport will be reviewed by the Town Deal Board and then submitted to the Government at the end of March 2022. Subject to the approval of the business case, work will continue on the development of the project with the first phase of delivery potentially starting by the end of 2022 or early 2023.
