Sefton's Coproduction Roadshow
Overview

Coproduction is about working together with people to make services and support better. We know that adults, children, and young people have important ideas. Their experiences help us understand what they need and what works best.
Some of the coproduction groups we have set up are to help us look at:
- Improving Adult Social Care.
- Helping us deliver our Families First Partnership.
- Creating more inclusive streets and talk about our plans and ideas for transport and highway improvements in Sefton.
- Developing a strategy to look at how technology can support people to stay independent at home.
- Helping the Council improve the information it provides for residents of Sefton.

Some of the things that people have been involved in as a result of coproduction are:
- Designing the gardens, kitchens and the sensory room at the Short-Term Assessment Unit that is being built.
- Deciding the name of the Short-Term Assessment Unit.
- Carrying out Healthy Streets on-street assessments to look at connectivity and accessibility.
- Recruiting for Senior Adult Social Care staff and Social Workers.
- Reviewing consultation information so that it is accessible.
- Including British Sign Language on some of the Council's videos.
We look at ways to help people be involved in the groups. People can attend the coproduction groups in person, on through Microsoft Teams or can send in their comments by email. Some of the activities, like the Healthy Streets Assessments are carried out in-person, at locations in Sefton.

We’ll be visiting the locations below, so please come along and chat with us about our coproduction opportunities and how you can get involved.
We’ll be happy to tell you more about each group, including what they do, when they meet, and who is involved.
Everyone is welcome to get involved. By sharing your ideas, experiences, and feedback, you can help make a real difference to services, support, and the future of Sefton as a great place to live. We’d love to hear from you.
