Why your views matter

The consultation will help us find out more about what you know about climate change and what you think is important for us to know about how we should engage and involve people, so we can work together.

The consultation will close on 30 September 2022.

We will then report the results to our councillors (people who make decisions) We will gather all the feedback we receive from this consultation to produce a Climate Change Community Engagement Plan. We will also put a summary of the results on the consultation hub called Your Sefton Your Say.

At the end of the survey you will be asked if you want to give an email address so that you can receive a copy of your response. You do not have to do this. The email address is only used to send the email to you from Your Sefton Your Say. The email address will not be stored with the responses and Sefton Council will not have access it, unless you have given your email address as part of the survey.

What happens next

We will look at all the information and write a report.  The report will be shared with Elected Members - who are people that makes decisions about Sefton. The report will also be available in Easy Read.
