It will be called the “Your Home, Your Care, Your Voice” Coproduction Group.
Get involved.
All residents who access home care services, including, older people, younger people, disabled people, individuals with long-term health conditions or additional needs, those with SEND are all encouraged to get involved and help shape Sefton’s Home Care model.
Care and Support at Home Services.

Care and Support at Home Services, sometimes called domiciliary care, help people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible. Support is tailored to each person's needs and can include help with personal care, taking medication, preparing meals, getting out and about, maintaining independence, and supporting overall health and wellbeing.
What Coproduction means.

Coproduction means working in partnership with people who have lived experience to design and improve services from the outset. Your experience and ideas helps ensure support truly meets people’s needs and delivers positive outcomes.
Sefton has a strong track record of coproduction. For example, the Willow View Coproduction Group has also played a key role in designing a new short-term assessment unit in Ainsdale, influencing everything from the sensory spaces to the overall environment and service approach. The unit is due to open in 2027.
We want Care and Support at Home Services to reflect what matters most to local people. That's why we are bringing together a co-production group made up of residents, people who use services, carers, family members, and community representatives.
