Young Person's Get Talking Meetings (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities)

Overview

The Young Person's Get Talking meetings are for young people aged 13 - 25 years and have SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities).

Our meetings happen every Monday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

They are online on Zoom.

Your parent or carer needs to say it’s okay for you to join and help you (if you need it) get on Zoom.

What is the Young Person's Get Talking Meeting?

It’s an online social group where we work together and share ideas.
This is called coproduction – it means working together in a good way to reach the same goal.

Some of the things we do together:

  • Help make the SEND Local Offer website better.
  • Create things like leaflets and logos.
  • Talk with professionals and share our ideas.
  • Learn new skills.

We enjoy working together, talking, and sharing ideas!
