Southport Market Consultation

Closed 24 Oct 2019

Opened 26 Sep 2019

Overview

Sefton Council is committed to ensuring Southport Market continues to operate and make a positive contribution to the local economy as well as becoming a key visitor destination. The proposal is to introduce more hot food outlets with a large events space to the rear, which would allow for a variety of uses including high quality markets. Please note that no decisions have been made yet.

Why your views matter

We are seeking the views of our existing traders, residents and visitors to the area about their views on the existing market and what they would like to see if the market was redeveloped.

Below are some images of what the new market could look like. Please visit the website (see link below) to see more images and details on what it could look like.

Please note that at the end of this survey, before submitting your results, you will be asked if you want to provide an email address so that you can receive a PDF copy of your response. This is completely optional. The email address is only used to send the email to you via the online consultation system provided by Delib as the data processor. The email address will not be stored with the responses and Sefton Council will not have access it.
