Bootle Area Action Plan Publication Draft
Overview
‘Our Future, Our Bootle’ is an Area Action Plan (AAP) which sets out a clear vision for the town and the wider area for the next two decades and beyond. An AAP is type of development plan for a specified area. The AAP covers Bootle and parts of Seaforth and Litherland.
The Plan identifies the locations in the town where regeneration and investment are needed and also aims to help to secure the homes that people need and want, good quality open spaces and facilities, job opportunities and approaches to tackle climate change and environmental issues. It will also help support the Council’s ambitious plans for Bootle Town Centre.

To ensure an effective and fair examination, it is important that the Inspector and all other participants in the examination process are able to know who has made representations on the plan. Sefton will therefore ensure that the names of those making representations can be made available (including publication on the LPA’s website) and considered by the Inspector. However, we will not publish your personal contact details (postal address, email address etc) although these will be shared with the programme officer for the Bootle Area Action Plan so that contact can be made. For more information on how we deal with personal data please see www.sefton.gov.uk/PlanningGDPR
