Sefton Council Gambling Act Licensing Policy 2025-2028 Consultation
Overview
Under the Gambling Act 2005 the Council is the Licensing Authority for the processing of certain gambling applications. This means that we have to have a Statement of Licensing Policy in force which sets out how we have understood the law.

Why your views matter
This document needs to be looked at every three years. We need to make sure that it is up to date with any changes in the law. This document will next be looked at in 2025. We are therefore asking people who are interested whether you have any comments to make about this Policy document.
